Clothing Swap

Hello Aptos Families,

This coming Monday, April 22nd, there will be an Earth Day celebration on the yard at lunch time. You can expect to find fun, Earth-themed activities to inspire sustainability and eco-action within our community.

One of the activities will be a clothing swap to teach students about creative reuse as an act of environmentalism, in addition to being a fun way to reinvent your wardrobe! Please bring clothing donations to Ms. Bishop in the library this week and receive tokens that can be exchanged for clothing on the day of the event. Please contact us with any questions.

Fundraising is still open. Help your student win prizes and our school raise money. Go to and register. It's easy to setup and ask family and friends for small donations. Fundraiser is open till April 24.

Welcome New Aptos Families

Step Up

We will not be having a Step Up Program at the end of this year for incoming 6th grade students as the format did not meet our needs of building community with only half the students in attendance.

Instead we will be developing a comprehensive Step Up week for the first week of school that all our new 6th graders will take part in.

We hope this more inclusive approach will strengthen culture and provide an opportunity for our diverse student population to build community across difference.

Go Tigers!
