Please join our students for the production of Sideways Stories

"Come see Aptos students perform “Sideways Stories from Wayside School” at 6 pm on Wednesday, May 22 in the Aptos Auditorium.

Based on the beloved books by Louis Sachar, this fun production is a partnership with Beacon CYCSF, San Francisco Youth Theater, sponsored by the PTSA, and will feature lighting and sound effects by Aptos Stage Crew. Suitable for the whole family, younger siblings are welcome.

Welcome New Aptos Families

Step Up

We will not be having a Step Up Program at the end of this year for incoming 6th grade students as the format did not meet our needs of building community with only half the students in attendance.

Instead we will be developing a comprehensive Step Up week for the first week of school that all our new 6th graders will take part in.

We hope this more inclusive approach will strengthen culture and provide an opportunity for our diverse student population to build community across difference.

Go Tigers!

Important Message from the
CYC BEacon Center

Dear Aptos Beacon Families,

The Aptos Beacon After-school Program will be closed on Friday January 25th, 2018. The San Francisco Beacon Initiative has mandated that all Beacon Centers are to be closed that day for program so that all Beacon staff may attend a whole-day training and conference called Beacon Way Day.

While the after-school program will be closed, school will still be in session with regular hours that day. This is to inform you so that you may start making alternative plans for your students after-school on January 25th.

Thank you for your understand.

Sincerely,

Beacon After-School Staff --
